Hydrogenics to Webcast Annual Meeting of Shareholders

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA - May 2, 2008 -- Hydrogenics Corporation (Toronto:HYG.TO)(NasdaqGM:HYGS), a globally recognized developer and provider of hydrogen generation and fuel cell products and services will hold its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 1:00 pm ET at the Toronto Board of Trade, 4th Floor First Canadian Place Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

At the event, Mr. Daryl Wilson, Hydrogenics Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer will give a presentation on the Company's strategy and a progress update.
