HYDROGENICS NAMED 2004 TECHNOLOGY PIONEER

Hydrogenics has been named a 2004 Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum for its work in advancing hydrogen fuel cell technology and promoting the worldwide clean power industry, and was one of only four companies in the energy field recognized by the organization this year.

About the World Economic Forum and the Technology Pioneers Program

The World Economic Forum (www.weforum.org) is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world. The Forum provides a collaborative framework for the world's leaders to address global issues, engaging particularly its corporate members in global citizenship. The Technology Pioneers program is a part of the Forum’s commitment to identify technology innovations. This year 30 international companies were honoured for their work in ubiquitous computing, nanotechnology, biotechnology and energy technology. Hydrogenics was one of two Canadian companies presented with the award.
