INDUSTRIAL PROCESS REQUIREMENTS

The configuration of a HySTAT™ Hydrogen Station will depend on specific industrial hydrogen requirements:

  • Quantity -- the amount of hydrogen required determines the required hydrogen generation rate and hydrogen storage capacity.
  • Continuity of Supply – depending on the process hydrogen may be required in a continuous stream, in other cases hydrogen is used in batches
  • Pressure -- the pressure at which the hydrogen is required for the industrial process determines whether or not additional compression is required. If so, hydrogen storage modules will be required to maintain the desired pressure.
  • Purity – in the event that a high level of hydrogen purity is required, an advanced purification option may be necessary. This is common in certain kinds of glass manufacturing and semi-conductor manufacturing.
