POWER MODULE

One of the key value propositions of a HySTAT Energy Station is its ability to operate electricity from stored hydrogen. This can be deployed for a stationary power application such as backup power, supplemental power, peak shaving or remote off-grid primary power. This feature offers a unique solution when the HySTAT Energy Station is integrated with renewable energy sources such as wind and solar, resulting in a clean and reliable power source.

Hydrogenics develops and manufactures a line of HyPM^®fuel cell powered modules, ranging in output from 8-65 kW. Multiple modules can be assembled for applications requiring larger power output. In a backup power application, the integrated Power Module is designed for quick start-up to provide critical power in the event of a grid power disruption and can ramp up quickly from standby mode to full load operation.
