HyPORT C
HyPORT C is a portable fuel cell power generator integrated
with its own hydrogen generator that makes hydrogen at point of
use, eliminating the need to transport gaseous hydrogen. Hydrogen
is produced from a controlled reaction of water with a chemical
hydride in the presence of a catalyst. It only makes as much hydrogen
as the fuel cell is calling for so that a separate hydrogen storage
module is not required. The chemical hydride compound is manufactured
in small tablets that are easy to transport and then water simply
needs to be added at point of use. The reservoirs hold enough chemical
hydride solution to operate the fuel cell for approximately twelve
hours. The dual reservoir design allows continuous operation if
desired.

demand of the fuel cell, eliminating the need for a hydrogen storage
vessel. The dry chemical hydride compound is easy to transport and
mix with water at the desired power generation location.
Easy Operation: The HyPORT C is fully automatic and starts
up with the flip of a switch. Maintenance is minimal.
Continuous Power: Dual solution reservoirs allow continuous
operation.
Stable Voltage: The integrated DC/DC converters supply stable
and constant voltage with minimal electrical noise. HyPORT C is
particularly suited for battery recharging.
